2 credit, 24 Class Hours, 1st Semester etc.
This course is the basic theory course of library science.It mainly teaches the theory and practice of libraries and library science. Including the libraries` emergence and development, functional evolution, future construction direction and main problems, the job content of the library profession, processes and core competencies, basic conceptions and research paradigm of library science, discipline system, trends in the new era, information source and studies development of library science .
