The special meeting of the 13th Social Science Conference of Jiangsu Province was held in Nanjing on January 9, 2020.The conference was hosted by The Publicity Department of CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, Jiangsu Federation of Philosophy and Social Sciences, and undertook by the Society Department of Jiangsu Federation of Social Sciences. More than 100 academic institutions and 90 universities and research institutes from all over the province attended this meeting. Dr. Su Wencheng, was invited to attend the meeting.

The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by Xu Zhishun, vice chairman of Jiangsu Provincial Association of Social Science. He Guojun, deputy director of association department of Jiangsu Provincial Association of Social Science, read out the decision of awarding papers. The research result of Dr. Su Wencheng, "Zhenjiang Pearl Buck City Cultural Brand Construction Path Report", won the second prize of outstanding papers of the Conference.

This conference brought together many scholars and shared wonderful reports, which greatly broadened the research horizon of the participants. Scholars from all over the province in the field of philosophy and social sciences enthusiastically spoke up, and the atmosphere of academic exchange was warm. This conference not only provides a platform for the communication among scholars in the field of philosophy and social science of the province, but also builds a bridge for the exchange and mutual learning of research perspectives and paradigm patterns across different fields and disciplines. It opens a new chapter for the development of philosophy and social science research in the province in 2020.
